Born and raised in France, I immigrated to the United States after college and settled down into to a career as an executive for a large corporation. Although my brothers, José et François, were established artists and I always thought I'd like to give it a try, it wasn't until after I retired and moved to Remsenburg, Long Island in 2000 that I decided to pick up a brush.
I joined the Long Island Institute of Fine Art where I began by painting a still-life in oil. More still-lifes followed and then onto landscapes, historical landmarks, flowers, seascapes and recently portraits.
In Florida, I joined the Boca Raton Museum Art School where I paint during the winter.
I hope you enjoy my website.
